Vanness Wu was born August 7, 1978 in Los Angeles, the United States under the name Wu Jian Hao. Member boy band from Taiwan, JVKV (formerly F4) is fluent in English and Mandarin. Besides singing, Vanness Wu is also acting, dancing, and rapping.
Vanness Wu's acting is the most famous Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden together with other F4 members are Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou and Ken Zhu. Vanness Wu also play movies with Korean actress, Kim Hyun-joo in STAR RUNNER (2003) and with Shawn Yue, Sammo Hung, Maggie Q, Michael Biehn and Li Bing Bing in DRAGON SQUAD (2005).
Vanness Wu released two solo albums, namely BODY WILL SING and V.DUBB.
Vanness Wu also collaborated with Kangta (former member of Korean boy band HOT) and Scandal released their first single in May 2006. In addition to Kangta, Vanness Wu duet with Coco Lee in Hip Hop Tonight is in Coco Lee's latest album titled WOW! COCO.
