All about Ahn Jung-Hwan

Ahn Jung-Hwan (born in Paju, Gyeonggi, January 27, 1976, age 36 years) is a South Korean football player. He plays as a striker.
Ahn became famous worldwide when scored for South Korea's soccer team beat Italy in the second round of the 2002 World Cup and bring South Korea into the quarter-finals. After the World Cup, Ahn thrown out of Serie A, Perugia because they "have ruined Italian soccer" by the owner of Perugia. Although Perugia later retracted his remarks, Ahn refused to return to Perugia and decided to move to Japan, playing for Shimizu S-Pulse.

He returned to Europe in 2005 after signing the French club, FC Metz. On February 2006 he moved to MSV Duisburg in Germany, but at the end of the season, Duisburg relegated to Division Two. He was sacked Duisburg in August 2006 because it is considered failed. In January 2007, he signed a one-year contract with Suwon Samsung Bluewings.
